SPORT PSYCHOLOGY. FOR FIGHTERS.
The fight is won before you step in.
For Muay Thai and MMA fighters training in Phuket. I do the mental performance work behind fight day — pre-fight anxiety, confidence collapse, overthinking mid-round, recovery after a loss. Same work I've done with Olympians and elite athletes across five continents. Now in your gym's neighbourhood.

You've done the physical work. But your mind is showing up wrong on fight day.
You're training hard. Sparring well. Your coach believes in you. Your body's ready.
But something else is happening in your head. Maybe you freeze in the ring, even though the drills came easy in training. Maybe you replay the last loss for months. Maybe the nerves start days out, and by fight night your legs don't feel like yours.
That's not you being weak. That's not a discipline problem. It's your mental performance system running an old pattern under pressure — and no amount of extra training will fix it if you don't address the layer underneath.
What we work on together.
- Pre-fight anxiety — the nerves, the sleeplessness, the pit in your stomach in the days before you compete.
- In-fight overthinking — the moment your body knows what to do but your mind gets in the way.
- Confidence collapse — after a bad camp, a bad round, or a loss that shouldn't have happened.
- Loss recovery — extracting the lesson without carrying the emotional weight for months.
- Weight cut mental strain — the layer under the physical cost most people don't address.
- Retirement transitions — for fighters moving from the ring back into life.
Who this is for.
Amateur fighters preparing for their first (or next) fight.
Aspiring pros training in Phuket's camps — Tiger, Sinbi, Phuket Top Team, and others — with real ambition to climb.
Established pros whose head has become the thing standing between where they are and where they should be.
Coaches who see mental performance affecting one or more of their fighters and want expert support.
If you're serious about fighting — and you know the mental side isn't optional anymore — this is the work.
How it works.
Step 1 — The 20-minute call.
Free. We talk about what's actually happening — not surface stuff, real stuff. If we're a fit for deeper work, I'll tell you. If not, I'll tell you that too and point you elsewhere.
Step 2 — One-on-one sessions.
In-person in Phuket, or remote if you're travelling. 60 minutes each. We work on the specific pattern showing up in your fights.
Step 3 — Ongoing support through fight camps.
Mental performance is like conditioning — you build it over reps. I stay in your camp cycle as long as it takes to lock the work in.
Who I am.
Sport Psychology Consultant based in Phuket. Dual psychology degrees. FC Barcelona Sport Psychology certified. Two-time TEDx speaker. Over a decade of practice with athletes, founders, and executives across five continents.
I've worked with Olympians. A Paralympian. International soccer players. Fighters. And amateurs at the very start of their career. The work is the same. The layer is the same. And I've made it my life's work.
I'm not a clinical psychologist — I'm a Sport Psychology Consultant. If you need therapy, I'll refer you to someone who does that. If you need mental performance work, this is where you are.
Common questions.
Are you a sports psychologist?
Legally, no — "psychologist" is a protected title that requires clinical registration. I'm a Sport Psychology Consultant with dual psychology degrees, FC Barcelona Sport Psychology certification, and over a decade of applied practice. This distinction matters — my work is mental performance, not therapy. If you need clinical psychological care, I'll refer you to someone who does that.
Do you work with Muay Thai fighters specifically?
Yes. My deepest experience is across other elite sports — Olympians, Paralympians, international soccer players. But the mental patterns fighters face (pre-fight nerves, in-round overthinking, weight-cut strain, loss recovery) are ones I've worked with hundreds of times. That work translates directly to Muay Thai and MMA — and I've applied it with fighters here in Phuket.
What if I've never done mental performance work before?
Most fighters haven't. That's why the first call is free. We work out what's actually going on, and I'll tell you honestly what the first steps look like.
I'm training at Tiger Muay Thai / Sinbi / Phuket Top Team. Can I still work with you?
Yes. I work in-person across Phuket. Sessions can happen at your gym, at my location in Pak Lok / Cape Yamu, or at a mutually convenient spot. Remote sessions available for fighters travelling for competitions.
How much does it cost?
The 20-minute intro call is free. If we work together, single sessions and fight-camp packages are available. I'll share pricing on the call once we've matched the work to what you actually need.
How is this different from what my coach does?
Your coach handles the physical work, the tactics, the corner strategy. I handle the mental performance underneath — the reason you might know exactly what to do and still not do it under pressure. The best coaches and mental performance consultants work together, not in competition.
Do you offer group workshops for fight camps?
Yes. I run mental performance workshops with pro athletes and developing athletes — usually 60-90 minutes, working on the specific patterns most costing performance. Contact me to discuss.

We'll talk about what's actually holding you back. If I can help, I'll tell you. If I can't, I'll point you where to go. Either way, you walk away with more clarity than you had.
